Tonight I gave my car to a Ford dealer without properly saying goodbye. I abandoned a 1994 Ford Astra diesel that's been with me for 6 years on the forecourt of a Ford dealership in Sheffield and I never looked back as I walked in to the showroom to pick up it's replacement. As it wings its way to the breakers yard in the sky I want to thank it for many years of thankless transportation, despite the thrashing, crashing, scrapping and bashing it received from it's slightly rubbish owner. It's being replaced by a shiny NEW(ish) Ford Focus but it will not be forgotten - the first car I owned.
Quite sad really, just thought I'd share that with you :-(
